Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

Eventyvo ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we process personal data when you use our event management platform, aligned with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), and applicable Algerian data protection rules.

1. Controller

For platform account data and Eventyvo-operated processing, Eventyvo is the data controller (and, for California residents, a "business"). Contact: contact@eventyvo.com. For registration forms and attendee lists configured by an organizer, that organizer is typically the controller of form responses; Eventyvo acts as a processor / service provider on their instructions.

2. Data we collect

A California-oriented category notice is available on Your Privacy Choices.

3. Purposes and legal bases

4. Sharing; sale and share under CCPA/CPRA

We use service providers (hosting, email, payments, media storage, optional messaging) under appropriate agreements. We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics technologies on our sites (or organizer-configured pixels) may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law when enabled. You can opt out via Your Privacy Choices, the cookie banner, or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Organizers see attendee data for events they manage. Authorities may receive data when legally required.

5. International transfers

Some vendors may process data outside Algeria, the EEA, or California. Where GDPR applies, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) when required.

6. Retention

We keep data as long as needed for the Service, legal retention, and dispute resolution. Purpose-specific periods are summarized in our Record of Processing Activities and on Your Privacy Choices. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal limits.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). You may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

Logged-in users can request a copy of their data via Export my data in settings, and delete their account where offered.

8. Your rights (CCPA / CPRA — California)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to: know categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected; delete personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information; and non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

9. More transparency

10. Cookies

See our Cookie Policy for categories and consent controls.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at young children without parental involvement. Organizers may enable parental consent flows for events involving minors.

12. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Material updates may be communicated in-product or by email when appropriate.
